E-mail Aliasing

E-mail aliasing allows you to have an unlimted number of e-mail addresses that spawn off of your top level domain name. For example, if you have the domain name 'yourcompany.com' and you want to create multiple addresses at which you can receive e-mail you may want to create these aliases:

  • info@yourcompany.com
  • sales@yourcompany.com
  • marketing@yourcompany.com

Each of these aliases can be forwarded to a single POP3 mailbox or they can be forwarded to three separate mailboxes. By using the Univox Postoffice service you are able to manage the distribution of all of your domain name aliases and POP3 mailboxes.

Note: By default, any address that is used at your domain will go to your main POP3 mailbox which can be accessed with the same login name and password that you would use to ftp. If for some reason you prefer to not reconfigure your email program to download the mail from Univox's mail servers, you can set your mail to forward.
